"Best in Class" EP by Scandal Jenner

Scandal Jenner just released her debut EP - Best in Class! The artist and project itself shows a lot of character - from the musical genres, word choice, and lyrical imagery. Genres jump around from the 50's with matching backing vocals to some rap and punk which make for an entertaining listen. Topics range from the sweet storytelling of falling in love and the happiness in a home to denouncing fascism and douchebaginess. Though there are bright spots in how the tones and mood keep the listener entertained, some parts could be improved on such as the drum rolls and the execution of “Anarchy in the Ukay-Ukay”. I don't feel that the rapping works and the very abrupt end to the track is very misplaced especially compared to the other tracks. All in all, it still a very enjoyable listen and I'm excited for other what's to come.
