"QC (Quatro Cantos)" by Off The Hook

Cavite based synth rock band, Off the Hook (PH), defy being stereotyped, and celebrate the fact that the band mixes rock, pop, blues, disco, and funk to tell a story and in a style all its own .

Grew out of the garage band vocalist Zed Lumampao, keyboardist RJ Lumampao, lead guitarist Jonel Mariano and drummer CJ Hilario played in while growing up in the suburbs of Kawit. Later, Johann Reyes joined in to fill in the bass.

The band was born of a need to write and perform original music across multiple genres. Catch any of their live performances and you'll find them moving seamlessly from folk pop, to disco rock, to mellow grunge, to piano ballads, to you name it. Yet it all manages to sound cohesive -- "strangely familiar" as one fan called it -- and all part of the experience.

They strive for compositions to have memorable melodies that stand on their own, yielding an unmistakably musical foundation for their compelling lyrics. For the band, it’s all about the song. They deliver musical hooks, deft arrangements, and lush harmonies that provide a “just right” touch of color to support the emotional core of each song.

Last year, Off The Hook (PH) was the frontact for Join the Club, Moonstar88, and Orange & Lemons at Kawit Music Fest 2019. They have also played open mics for SaGuijo, Conspiracy, and Mercato Del Lago.

The band's debut single "QC (Quatro Cantos)" is now available on all digital platforms, and recording has already begun on the follow-up.
