"Alpas: Beyond Reverb And Noise" by Various Artists

Shoegaze Pilipinas just released the last compilation of the Shoegaze Pilipinas Trilogy - Alpas! Translating as “o become free or break loose”, this third installment aims to show the diversity not just in the genre but the scope of talent Filipinos and those of Filipino descent have. As such, this album features a wider scope of sound, featuring artists from the US and Canada as well. It also features a couple of live sessions, alternate mixes, recently released singles and unreleased tracks from Sweet Trip, Walking Marriages, The Summer Triangle, Celadon and Pale Blue Morning!

Shoe Pilipinas celebrated the occasion by hosting a listening party event last October 23 at their Discord server. It was quickly filled up by fans and supports of the community even making some guests have difficulty in joining. The event was moderated by Dale Marquez and Johann Mendoza who played a couple of choice tracks from the compilation. Listeners were treated to a special Q&A session with members of Cinema Lumiere - Jon Tamayo and Manny Gallo - as well as Roberto Burgos of Sweet Trip. Fans were especially delighted with being able to talk to a member of Sweet Trip.
