"Sun Valley" EP by Ivy Hill

Noise pop group Ivy Hill were supposed to release this EP last October but that project has grown into an album to be released this year. In the meantime, they delivered Sun Valley to everyone looking to add music to their P i n o y music playlist. The EP keeps things concise with 3 songs that showcase their penchant for quirky noise pop, DIY sounds, and indie rock that only internet-savvy people can put into song. They aren't afraid to mix internet sounds like in The Life And Time, Filipino phrases and LDR musings in Eine Kleine, and contrasting bedroom pop and noise rock on No Water/You Left it Running. Overall, it's a very entertaining collection that leaves me wanting more. I just don't understand the first track, though.
