"For John and Robert" Single by Irrevocable

Irrevocable released a powerful cry for help - For John and Robert! The song depicts cries of anguish and helplessness with the singer trying to reach out through a monitor but only ending with disappointment and heartbreak.

For all the victims of pointless killings done for greed.

John and Robert were two of the four people kidnapped from a raid at the Holiday Ocean View Samal Resort on September 2015. They never came back home.

I was still working with an anti-terrorism unit back then, and one day I was assigned to transcribe a hostage video released by the abductors. Replaying it countless times screwed my mind. I could not hear any words anymore, I could only hear their fear.

John and Robert were murdered after a few months. I eventually quit that job after the last released video. Hearing the last struggling breath of someone being killed took a huge toll on my mental health. I was so sorry we could not save them. I was so sorry we could not take them home. - L
