The Buildings just released a new single off their upcoming album - Heaven Is A Long Exhale! The band shows some restraint in delivering a mellow song with less distortion, a melancholic breakdown, and drum machine intros. Showcasing their maturity as instrumentalists, the breakdown in the middle of the track brings vibes of Ciudad with the sudden isolation of guitars and a build-up care of synths into a simple guitar solo with backing acoustic guitars - quite the change of tempo I'm always a sucker for.

They have also announced the release of their album in the next few months and if this single is a signal, we'll in for a more mature-sounding escape.
