"Kapitan Kulam" EP by Kapitan Kulam

Doom and sludge quartet Kapitan Kulam finally release their songs for everyone's listening pleasure! The instrumental EP lasts a quick 17 mins but is full of the fuzz and arrangement-driven rock that you love about their music. Having watched them live a couple of times, it's interesting to hear these songs as how the bands envision them and to have names attached to the music. Multiple influences permeate through the EP such as doom, sludge, grunge, and alternative. Each track keeps the listener's attention by changing tempos and riffs, withdrawing certain instruments at certain points to keep you guessing - foregoing the usual guitar solo you would hear on rock-based instrumental tracks.
